🚀 There are no safe places left for Russians in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The Center for Strategic Communications explains
On November 4, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the Zaliv shipyard in temporarily occupied Kerch with SCALP-EG missiles.
▶️ Zaliv Shipyard is a Ukrainian enterprise seized by the Russian invaders in 2014 , one of the largest in Eastern Europe.
▶️ Russia uses an illegally appropriated factory to build, repair and modernize warships, which it involves in the war against Ukraine. This is a legitimate military objective.
▶️ As a result of a Ukrainian high-precision strike, the most modern small missile ship of the Russian Navy “Askold” - a carrier of “Calibre” cruise missiles, with which the enemy constantly terrorizes peaceful Ukrainians, was damaged.
▶️ The Defense Forces of Ukraine have once again proven that they can hit military targets at any point in the temporarily occupied Crimea and are capable of completely destroying the combat potential of the enemy fleet.
▶️ Western weapons have proven their effectiveness, but they are still not enough to radically change the situation at the front . In addition to air-to-surface cruise missiles, the Armed Forces need more ATACMS ballistic missiles.
Good
That really looks wrecked. Probably not worth it to repair (just a wild guess) with time and costs involved.
On top of what we see, there is always further damage from the blast, shrapnel, fire/heat, smoke, firefighting water.
If all Ukraine has to do is wait for ships to dock to attack them. Then Russia’s biggest enemy is now entropy.
It’s ass ain’t so cold any more. They should rename it the ‘Ass-cooked’.
“'Tis but a scratch!”
