        Ok but for real, what do you want them to do? Fight? Western media would tear them to pieces about battling an important NATO ally and would align the plight of Baku to that of Kiev, with “Russian ally” Armenia holding part of its legitimate territory through Russian forces… not to mention they would be obliterated.

        The weight of peace was in the UN… and nobody gave a fuck about Armenia in fears of provoking Turkey, Russia included.

        This is not a time for funny quips about Russia being bad. This is just fucking sad as we are watching another mass ethnic cleansing or Armenians in just a bit over a century… fuck.

        Downvote me to oblivion if you have to. You are all using a tragedy of great magnitute to take cheap shots at Russia. Yes, fuck Russia for Ukraine, and also good on them at being worse at war than they tought. However, here, they did nothing unusual: nothing.

        No peacekeepers ever fight UN detachments or Netherlands, France, Italy etc all had the same experience. They are there to secure some kind of a peace as agreed by both sides. As soon as one side breaches peace, they are next to powerless to stop it.
