Never played any of them myself but I watched a cousin play Chaos Theory when it came out and the soundtrack by Amon Tobin blew me away; I still listen to it frequently.

Oof BG3 was so dangerous for me… When I first got it I played from dusk untill dawn, after that everytime I booted up the game, one blink and suddenly 5 or 6 hours had gone by, very difficult game to put down.

Hades, I spent like 6 months playing almost nothing else. Platinumed it and still couldn’t get enough, and I’m not even that good at it!ಥ_ಥ I managed to get to 25 heat I think.

I’ve been enjoying these all day with my global south ^tm popcorn. Keep 'em coming X^D

Can’t argue with that. White Orchad suuuckss, but once you leave the area (thankfully is short) and the world starts opening up to you it’s so worth it, trust.

How far along are you in the witcher? Combat is basic and kinda boring but what is stellar for me are the characters you encounter, their stories and your interactions with them; Random ones and the ones that have history with Geralt, people in this game feel incredibly real and the writing, voice acting and characterization are great. Also the world, so grand and beautiful inspite of the horrors in it, man made or otherwise.

The game made me emotional so mamy times, there are some great moments in it… In short, there is a lot that makes up for the meh combat. I struggled initially as well when I first played it, but one I left the first area I started to enjoy myself. think it’s worth sticking to it.

And to clarify, self promo is ok! My complaint is about the ones who wouldn’t even see this post (or any other post for the matter), much less reply to it. They just take up space and do not give anything of value back. Imo. As the fediverse grows it’s bound to happen, it just pisses me off.

Not inflammatory, but I’ve noticed some new users who come only to do self promotion, without engaging in anyting else in the platform. Mostly in art related comms but also a couple trying to promote a shady website or the like. Even though my account is new I’ve been browsing for a good while and dislike people that are only looking for an audience not a community.
