Because SMS is trash, most of Europe doesn’t use iPhones and WhatsApp was one of the first messaging apps, so yeah.

I didn’t know those mini dishwashers existed, really cool.
I’ve literally never seen of heard of a dishwasher that has this, what model do you have?

Same thought, but I’m 50/50 on whether it’s an AI generated image or a shitty picture sharpened with AI.

As long as it’s clearly highlighted that “this is an AI generated summary”, it could be very useful. I feel like a lot of people here have never tried to e.g. read a maths article without having a PHD in mathematics. I would often find myself trying to remember what a term means or how it works in practice, only to be met by a giant article going into extreme technical detail that I for the life of me cannot understand, but if I were to ask ChatGPT to explain it I would immediately get it.
How do they keep your eyes from looking away or blinking while they’re doing it if it’s whilst you’re awake?
My phone is nearing end of support next year and I’ve been considering the Fairphone for a while now. I really wanna like it but I’ve seen a lot of people having issues with their software. Hopefully they’ll get better at it, well see.

Interesting. But wasn’t the Japanese economy at some point literally almost as big as the US one? That’s not really true on the graph?
I’ve been using Zen for about a month now and I’m very happy with it. I like the design and feel of it, and it’s actively being developed all the time. Don’t think I’ve had any significant bugs (except a few very minor ones) or issues whilst using it yet.
I mean, its literally the same thing as using a Master Card or Visa card, they’re both US firms. And I find it extremely convenient not to have to pull out my wallet and rummage through it each time to find my card and then sometimes be forced to type in my pin, and then have to put the card back in and my wallet back into my pocket. I just have to tap my phone, which is always on me (would be even more convenient if I had a watch that supported it as well but I don’t), and sometimes have to rescan my fingerprint to confirm.

I looked into it for a while trying to find the best option, and Mailfence turned out the best for me. Tuta was too locked down for me and Mailbox just rubbed me the wrong way. Mailbox has had a known major security issue with custom domains for literally 7 years now and still has yet to addressed it, their webmail is extremely slow and buggy (would switch to German randomly), they don’t encrypt messages at rest (which to be fair isn’t too important, but a lot of other services still do it), and I’ve seen multiple reports of their support being sub-par. I feel like they’re probably still fine, but I just feel more confident in Mailfence.

This is just an overblown aditional context menu action from inbuilt Windows apps, nothing special. Same thing as “Open Folder in VS Code”.
I see a lot of people saying it’s time to switch to Signal, and I mean I agree in principle, it’s my main messaging app, but I don’t see how it can scale. It runs off of donations and the only reason it’s still functioning is because the users that are there are above averagely passionate about it and willing to donate. If it became the defacto messaging app I fear that there is no way they would be capable of financing that level of traffic.
