Is it really bitter if IPO is successful? Citron and other cofounders likely setup to get a massive payout when it IPOs.
Humam isn’t someone that will look after the company for many years. He is brought in to cook the books, and get it to an IPO.

Bro got replaced by some ex-Activision-Blizzard MBA zombie. Humam got 86’d/golden parachuted from Blizzard after only <2 years as “Vice Chairman”. Then a 1-2 yr gap.
Humam about to get another massive bag once labor force is cut, platform further enshittified, and corp books are sufficiently cooked/prepped for IPO.
I have doubts it will get fully prosecuted under this administration. Tech oligarchy have been sucking Trump’s dick since he started his term.
Zuckerfuck being among the worst in the bunch.
Bidet gang
When you are a broke bitch but still want an Itasha car
This is how you get a Boeing 737 Max
DeepSeek about to get sent in for “maintenance” and docked 10K in social credit.
I shamefully admit I almost pulled the trigger on a Tesla Model S Plaid back in 2021 or 2022. Flush with a shit ton of cash, but fortunately I was reading reports of production build quality issues, many recalls, and ultimately pulled back my deposit.
Looking back at it. The one decision I have no regrets on.
Anything Microsoft built lately is dogshit. They turned Windows into a steaming pile of shit over the past 20 years. When you think it can’t get any worse, they somehow raise the bar on disappointment.
No doubt it will be loaded with a shit ton of tracking/telemetry to build new datasets and train LLMs. Mining data from kids/teenagers and building those ad profiles early on is key.
Repairability will likely be shit as well.
The few times I paid for it, the solutions were often wrong as well. Very infuriating.
TIL as well. It went public back in 2021 just a year before the GenAI craze.
Hopefully by then we have full mirrors of YT. Maybe PeerTube would be viable replacement
On mobile, I don’t use the app. I use safari + youtube.com with vinegar app and adguard.
No ads plus I get PIP. Quality is a hit or miss but idc about that.
Band or label probably revoked streaming rights on Google Music.
Seems pp rolled this “feature” out to USA only due to our lax regulations on privacy. Another user (in Canada) pointed out the option was not seen in Profile & Data
Page mentions “Notice of Amendment(s) to the United States PayPal Agreement(s)”. So it’s likely US only (for now).
If you don’t see the “Data and Privacy” option to opt out on their website or app. Then it’s likely they are not sharing your data, yet.
US has been playing catch up for decades. FedNow was implemented in 2023 to allow instant P2P payments between banks thereby eliminating the need for PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, et al.
It will take some time before we see banks make this fully available to everyone and subsequently merchants using it.
Fediverse to replace stackoverflow would be something I am interested in.
