    I agree with your reminder to be wary of the shortcomings of any ideology, be it Socialism, Capitalism, or any other. But you lost me with the golden mean fallacy. The fact is that any point on the “middle” of the ideological spectrum is just as often wrong as any other point on it. And to imply otherwise is at best a fallacious claim, and at worst a manipulative way to steer people away from prioritizing the truth under the guise of “fairness”. See the attempts to be fair and balanced towards the climate change “debate” for example.

    Also, Fred Hampton is never cringe.
