Basically everything I know is that the episode is about Ash and company being convinced by Team Rocket to take care of their Pokémon while they are away. At the end it turns out to be a hoax.

  2. CN on Latin America was premiering 3+ year old episodes at that point

    I couldn’t find the specific episode, but based on the expected release year of the season (2014~5 or before), this should be one of the XY or at the earliest BW seasons.

    Things that could help to narrow down the episode:

    • Who was Ash travelling with? Clemont (blond guy, glasses) should appear in XY seasons, while Iris (big purple hair, girl, darker skin) in BW.
    • Do you remember a few mons from the episode? (inb4 Pikachu and Meowth)
    • Were Jessie and James wearing black?

        If you got Charmander it’s one of the earliest episodes of the first season, as it evolves to 'meleon and 'zard quite early (in episode 43). Perhaps episode 28?

        Team Rocket plans a scheme to steal many Pokémon by opening a grooming shop. Ash and his friends meet Susie, a famous Pokémon breeder. In the end, Brock gains a Vulpix when Susie tells him to look after it as she goes off to learn more about Pokémon breeding.
