I’ll see a post where the comment count says something like 10 but then when I open the comments there are only four comments there
some of the comments may be coming in from blocked or defederated instances, might be able to view them by hopping over to another instance and searching for the thread from there
you can check which instances your particular instance is blocking by adding
/instancesto the end of the URL – example: lemmy.world/instancesShit, that is super interesting. I’ll check that out. Thanks for the info.
Besides that it could also have to do with the language settings
@Antik brings up a good point – seems language settings for Lemmy are currently a little obtuse …
I have both “English” and “Undetermined” selected and yet the problem persists.
