You would agree that you are born your gender, regardless of physical sexual characteristics like genitals, correct?

No. Nobody is born a man, woman, boy, girl, or anything else. Babies have no gender. Gender identity begins developing at age 2-3, solidifies at age 4, and continues to develop into adulthood. In some people, such as genderfluid people, it never solidifies into a single state. Psychologists have demonstrated that gender forms during early childhood at length. Sociologists have for a very long time said that gender is a social construct (NOT a biological one), and have pointed out that different cultures have different numbers of genders. Do you think it’s a cosmic coincidence that bissu-gender people are only born in Bugis society and not in other cultures? No. The bissu gender, like all genders, is socially formed.

Those studies that say age 4 are not absolute, as I said, some humans retain a fluid gender. And besides that, Borg do not have human neurochemistry.

No, they have a formerly-human brain filled with cybernetics. And by saying I’m not a Borg, do you mean to argue that I’m a gender different than what I identify as?

I’m not participating in vote manipulation, because I’m not using an alt. Now, I asked you a question and I want a direct answer. I identify as swarmgender. Are you arguing that I’m a different gender than what I say I am? Don’t be a coward and dodge the question, answer it.

You’re dodging the question again. Don’t be a coward, I want a yes or no. Are you arguing I’m a different gender than I identify?

Hold up, are you saying that physical biology determines what gender someone can have? That looks like it’s exactly what you’re saying and that’s pretty messed up.

Please just look at what you’re saying. Screaming that someone’s gender doesn’t exist is not a good look no matter how much you think or feel that they aren’t valid. TV shows, art, are how we share ideas, and gender is an idea. Someone saw something that resonated with them and helped them understand who they are, and you are saying that’s wrong. Can you not see how that is messed up? How can you possibly justify invalidating someone to this extent? You could have wrote an essay by now, why all the effort to say someone’s gender isn’t “actually” their gender??

No, mechoselachia is right. You’re saying I can’t identify as my gender because I have the wrong biology.
