The air defense of the Russian capital is unable to protect its citizens in the ongoing war, a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Andrii Yusov, told the Kyiv Post.

Feels like half my experience on Lemmy is blocking “communities” from those instances. Hexbear, Lemmygrad, explodingheads… constant propaganda, low quality political and even fully racist memes with tons of upvotes polluting my feed. It’s not enjoyable and I’m starting to wonder if it’s worth it even for me, let alone my less tech savvy friends.
I get federation, decentralized social media, etc. I love the idea. Would be amazing to socialize without a corporation looking over my shoulder. But seriously those instances and their propaganda have pretty much killed my excitement about it.
