I was thinking that too, but Zelenskyy represents his people, and he needs to be able to talk with Trump if he wins the election, not because he wants to but out of necessity.
I don’t believe anything could be defined as “good deal for both parties”, unless russia is completely deputinized and deruscistfied!
Zelensky should have sent someone who looks similar, I’m sure the press would have played along.
