I’m not going to lie i don’t trust that is a true number for Russia. The amount of prisoners and old men in the battlefield makes any reported values seem suspicious.

Yeah they may be pulling a NK where everyone is a soldier until they are not when they need to hide military casualties.
I haven’t heard of there being more than about 10 000 to 15 000 NK soldiers in Ukraine.
That’s 7 to 15 days worth Russian losses, not more.

That’s not an unbelievable number at all. Russia has a massive population and if you look at the numbers these are peace time numbers for most countries. For example, Finland’s army turns from 25-30k during peace to 900k during the war through our large reserves.
In a war situation Finland will mobilize ~300k, not all reserves will to be thrown to the frontline immediately.
