I was trying soma ratelimit settings but set them too low apparently :-) It was reverted after a few minutes.

Same thing here. It seems like the admins might be limiting how many posts you can see every few seconds so the servers don’t struggle.

Servers are struggling because of userload. You can always create an account on smaller instance (lemm.ee is amazing and blazing fast) and interact with lemmy.world communities as usual without any issue - just like I’m doing right now :)
