Maybe most smaller ones have hosted both things separately, e.g… with a dedicated minecraft server hoster and a common website-building+hosting service, and don’t want to run an extra server for a proxy just for this.

With bigger servers (eg. Hypixel, 2b2t) or selfhosted servers (eg. mine), everything is on the same physical (or virtual) machine anyway and therefore everything has the same address, so you wouldn’t even need a proxy.

I do, except I always used du -hs *, which does not include hidden (.-Prefixed) files. So a double trap.

I use betas almost everywhere, and apart from firefox sometimes having minor bugs (expectable in nightly), I’ve never had any real issues. So yeah, until it breaks down completely I’ll just use beta.

Yeah, but even without any files and no extra apps, the OS itself and the preinstalled apps use enough space for unpacking the downloaded image to fail. Maybe if I uninstall the preinstalled apps I’ll have enough free space for the new image to be downloaded and unpacked properly. I doubt it tho. So basically, the 32 GB iPad is E-Waste because you can’t update it due to Apples horrible space and update optimization.

Honestly, paywalls. I’ll just not use anything not FOSS then. Ads are much more annoying and 99% of times brainrot.

I can block ads 100% reliably, and haven’t seen one, except in streams where the streamer had to watch one, or someone else’s device, in years. Paywalls are much harder to circumvent and need a whole plethora of extensions and 3rd party sites, instead of just uBlock + FF.

Which Android version do you have?

AutoNotification has been, to date, able to block/hide ANY notification reliably, even in the free version. Which reminds me, such a good app needs support so I’ll get the full version now.

I block things like “App xy can view an control youe screen” (No shit, nova launcher needs to do that?) and messages by apps that let them run in the background, eg. Element.

I use rsync to incrementally back up / to a separate drive, as well as a drive on another device (my server), which then packs, compresses and encrypts the latest backup of all devices daily, and uploads them to Hetzner as well as GDrive.

Does any Linux distro have autorun? Because Windows isn’t really an OS anyway.
