Yeah, though I don’t know if it graduated beta, because I don’t use windows 11.

If they just wanted telemetry they’d just “enhance it” they way they did with the monstrosity that is new Paint or AI assisted notepad.
Ok. But how’s the wifi?
Buckner Fanning sounds like British slang for vaginas, so this all checks out.
Now that it’s a thing, UMG is going to find that corner and start shaking people down for performance royalties.
Forest fire season starts in late June/early July and ends sometime around now. It stops if you’re lucky anyway; some of the Canadian 2023 fires are still smouldering.
Glad I’m not the only one pessimating that.
Yeah, I live in a area of the country where (only since 2020) we can expect long stretches of days where the sky is orange and the AQI is 300+. Climate change has made sure the toxic fumes are for everyone!
When I was a tween-teen my mom and I would thoroughly decorate our front yard and porch every year (for 5 or 6 years running) as a mini-haunted house. A lot of homemade decorations including a coffin my grandfather built for us. Then Halloween night I’d be in the coffin (which was on our porch) and she’d be there tending her cauldron or whatever worked for costume that year. When kids would come to the house she’d lift the coffin lid and I’d be in there with the bucket of candy. There was spooky music / sound effects, and some gloomy lighting. It was a mildly spooky vibe.
Very little kids (3 or 4) were often too scared to come up to the house and so one of the adults would have to come get their candy for them. I remember that, the last year we ended up doing it, one of the parents came up afterward and told us that their kid had been too scared to come up the year before and they talked about seeing “what was up there” on-and-off all year. And that year there were very proud to have gotten their own candy.
It’s fun to think that my mom and I are part of that family’s holiday memories.
I had a HS science teachers in the early 90s who was very insistent that, “day-ta is a name, dah-ta is information.” And between Star Trek and The Goonies, that made sense to me.
You know if a candy line has a fruit punch flavor you’re in for an iffy time.
My wife and I contribute to a few local organizations on a regular basis. They all offer donations on their websites. There’s a clinic we donate to. The shelters where we got our cats get regular small donations. We also donate to the local food panty plus warming centers in the winter.
We also exchange donations in lieu of gifts with our parents at the holidays. We’re all in positions where we don’t need more stuff, and it’s a nice way to still exchange something. My mom encourages donations to the rescue where she got her dog. I ask that she makes a donation to an organization that maintains and protects a local river basin.
My initial thought was, “that title can end after the 3rd word.”
Cellular modems with lifetime contracts from a telco are also increasingly common.

I keep telling people! That’s why the correct spelling of urban is “qurbangg”
I mostly use the clipboard for moving images around, but I guess DL’d this gif when Linda Ronstadt was last in the news. I don’t remember if I posted it anywhere.
My self-hosted stuff is intranet only apart from the VPN I used to access remotely. My blog is a Hugo site currently hosted on GitHub.
