You can export your settings every now and then from the settings. That way at least if you have to switch account you don’t start from scratch. Settings include subscriptions, and blocked instances, communities and users.

The lack of modmail and notifications when content is removed is still an issue. Not authoritarian, that seems much, but a better moderation experience from both sides would make the platform better for everyone.
