There’s at least one instance on futurama where a space ship is flown through a drive-through that’s just out in the vacuum of space

You couldn’t “restore” something to a state it’s never been in. Cutting off the legs and then casting regenerate would “regenerate” the lost pair of paralyzed legs.
Even with regenerate, what exactly are you regenerating? If the necessary neural pathways for the legs to work never developed in the first place, they couldn’t be “regenerated”. If this was your goal I think you might need to true polymorph a guy into “the same guy but his legs work”
Alright, you cast heal wounds. Any wounds on the legs are healed. You are now aware that paralysis from birth is not a “wound”
Call me crazy but I wear gloves when cleaning toilets
Some sink plungers have a collapsible flange hidden inside
“Anything that isn’t nothing”
Helps me push through when executive dysfunction hits. Getting outside for even just a little bit is a whole lot better than staying inside while telling myself I’m going to run 3 miles, for example
And this is the magical part where we recognize that both can exist
Interesting in concept i guess, but orders of magnitude less efficient than a train.
In order for everyone to just freaking go, their cars would have to be attached somehow.
I wonder if anyone’s ever thought of linking a bunch of cars together so they can all stop and go simultaneously. And hey, since the cars are attached and all need to go to the same place, we can build a track instead of using high maintenance rubber on pavement and-
oop, we invented trains
add a hard hat and you’re in
I think of it as being (sorta) similar to spraying and wiping down a dirty countertop. The spray alone isn’t going to get it fully clean, but it makes the wipe about a thousand times more effective at finishing the job.
This is the way. Plus they’re usually mesh so you can just toss them in the fridge with your produce and it stays breathable
Soak a kitchen towel, wring it out, and line the bottom of the crisper with it. Feel it every once in a while to make sure it’s still damp. That’ll let your crisper be what it was designed to be: a little high-humidity box in an otherwise arid refrigerator.
Also, take note of how produce is stored at the grocery store. If the store doesn’t refrigerate something (apples, tomatoes, avocados to name a couple), odds are you shouldn’t either. The fruits and veggies that belong in the crisper are the ones that are periodically misted with water in the case at the store. Also probably don’t keep anything tightly wrapped in plastic.
Welcome to 2024 where we announce the possibility of an upcoming announcement.
I think this commenter is trying to say that the nominal size of a 2x2 is 2" by 2" (and it looks like they typo’d nominal to “normal”)
The actual size of a 2x2 is 1.5" by 1.5", and OP incorrectly calls these dimensions nominal
If someone’s using the reasoning of drunk drivers to rationalize their behavior, that’s not a great sign.
To expand a little bit - the ridges of your outer ear will attenuate certain frequencies of sound more than others depending on the height of the source relative to your head. Animals that don’t have these outer ear ridges can still find the source of a sound laterally since they have two ears, and tilting their head tilts the plane of their ears letting them get some vertical sound perception.
In the smarter every day vid on this topic, they had a blindfolded person point to the source of a sound (succeeded no problem), and then packed clay into the outer ear ridges to mess with that sound attenuation. The person was able to keep their lateral sound perception but the vertical was all over the place.
Can confirm, dancing while doing chores continues to be the way to go as an adult
It’s pretty likely that the temperature needed to polymerize the oil would destroy whatever compounds are responsible for making olive oil taste and smell the way it does. Plus, if done well, seasoning creates a permanent bond between the polymer and the metal, so you probably wouldn’t get anything to come out of the seasoning into the food.
As for adding iron to the food, you might be thinking of acidic foods causing iron to leech out into the food. If the seasoning is “perfect” then this might not happen, but any weakspots in the seasoning can allow acids to corrode the pan if they’re left there long enough. Common advice you’ll find is to avoid cooking acidic food for long periods of time (e.g., simmering tomato sauce for several hours)
