Yeah blame the left which is in power in…. Oh right, nowhere. Essentially the voter has tried out all (somewhat) reasonable right politicians and since nothing works they now decided to try the crazy right wingers.

The problem in Belgium is that the Dutch speaking part swings far-right whereas the French speaking part swings far-left. Without common ground they probably will not be able to form a government.
Not (frequently) mowing your lawn is one of the best things you can do for your local bee population. Dandelions and other meadow flowers are great sources of nutrition for them. Obviously, don’t use pesticides either.
Build sufficient storage capacity and prices will not turn negative.
Yeah, the process is slow but thorough (as it should be since these are among the most difficult cases in existence).
The real blame here lies with the US, especially the Trump presidency. In Iran moderates were in power until Trump unilaterally ended the Iran nuclear deal. That was a clear signal to Iran, that moderation doesn’t bring them forward.
Think of the moral boost if US/UK/France send some elite troops who can be on the ground to select targets for the new F16s.
What a straw man. The question is: what is inflation? Not: is inflation beneficial or detrimental.? The latter is indeed a more subtle question, but that’s
Inflation is not exactly a new concept, and not that difficult to understand. I
The entire point in sentencing people like him is fear that he may unite the majority that is against the regime. Also Iran is not your typical Islamic country. The average level of education is high among men and women and until the 1980s women had a lot of freedom. Repression is truly the only way for the current leadership to stay in charge.
The main problem is that most European nations essentially disbanded their military after the financial crisis. The European weakness has made it extremely difficult to deliver weapons so far. Thankfully the European war machine is now really picking up and is ready to take over in case of GOP shenanigans (unfortunately we are electing our own idiots and Moscow stooges so no guarantees ).
I think it’s actually a very interesting question. Pi does not equal 5 in our universe, but perhaps we can think of a meaningful universe where it does? Perhaps some mathematicians/physicists can chime in?
This is one problem, but there’s a much bigger problem: the ratio of elderly (retired) to workers will increase substantially. Unless there is some AI productivity boost, many young people will have to work in health care/elderly care and standards of living will deteriorate A LOT.
If only there were some kind of protection against gonorrhoea. Something that would limit the contact during intercourse.
To increase support obviously. The theory is that GOP representatives will vote for this bill saying they helped Israel, whereas Dems can say they are helping Ukraine (of course there are also local issues in e.g. districts with many Jewish voters). The 2-party system in combination with local representation means that bundling bills is the only way to ever pass anything.
Wtf? Did Iraq/Afghanistan ask you to invade??? When was the last time the US did a military intervention to help somebody else?
Tbc if Russia pushes its troops west into Poland:Baltic’s/Finland (as it plans to), we will be in WW 3 whether we want to or not. My preferred outcome is for the Russian aggression to be punished quickly before this happens by restoring 2014 borders in Ukraine. If (the threat of) Western intervention can help achieve this I am all for it.
These are not the guys they’ll send out in a war. Unlike Russia, Western nations don’t need cannon fodder.
Israel falling would be a terrible outcome likely resulting in a mass genocide (the other way). The desirable outcome is for Israel to move out of Gaza and the occupied areas. That would also likely strengthen Israel both because it will strengthen their international reputation, and because it moves their troops out of danger.
This is just such a false narrative. The issue is not a lack of funds to help our own citizens and refugees. The issue is that those funds are concentrated among very few very wealthy people. Those wealthy people would very much like us to blame the refugees.
