It’s a piece of poster board which is pretty much like cardstock. You can usually find some at the stationary section in a lot of stores in the US.

Every year millions of fireworks are set off because of it. A good portion are by people that don’t know their ass from their head and either severely burn themselves/others, blow off a body part, or cause some sort of wildfire.

You might be overlooking the undertone of sarcasm in the complaints. No one is actually truly mad or anything, more humorously cynical of it.
I think most of it stems from how half-assed the censorship usually is along with the relative pointlessness considering how common explicit words are on the internet

TBF a lot of people who are bed-ridden by any of your three answers have a higher frequency of ending it from an OD of their pain meds, especially if they’re terminal.
To me it it gives a cliché lobotomy vibe

The standard for cars built for synthetic (“conventional” cars may have a bit more susceptibility to contamination, so they normally have shorter durations) usually usually go for 10-15k miles (~16-24k km). So going 30-45k miles in a year isn’t really unheard of. (Some cars are much less, while others like company cars/taxis can be more than double)
Gunpla, pop/labubu, liquid-cooing/overclocking, 3D printing, drones/RC
There is a bit of a threshold between an innocent hobby and a cult, but once crossed, it’s… yeah…
