23·6 days agoIf you mean Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo, IMO, Nintendo is the worst of them when it comes to stuff like this. You don’t see Microsoft crushing little enthusiast developers and modders (in fact, the Skyblivion team was sent free copies of the Oblivion remaster and has received lots of support and encouragement, as have many other modders).
If someone did that with Pokemon or Zelda at it got as much coverage as Skyblivion, Nintendo would squash them under a bunch of lawyers. That said, IMO, all consoles kind of suck, and PC is a lot fairer to consumers. Steam Deck is like, “You want to run an emulator? A whole new OS? Anything you say King. I love you.”
Shame, guess I’ll never buy anything from them ever again. Bricking the device I own is fucked, it’s none of your business what I do or don’t do with it.
The Steam Deck is superior in every regard anyways.

I’ve been playing the shit out of Children of Morta. I think it was $20, max. There are more indie games that are more fun to play and cost a fraction of the price than there are AAA games that are actually really good and not just generic slop that exists solely to try and make more money.
They don’t cost $80 if I don’t buy them. There are plenty of great games coming out regularly that cost way less (and there’s a good chance they’re also better games).
Research the shit out of the company and (if possible) your interview board, ask informed questions, and approach the interview as a two way street: You are interviewing them/the company every bit as much as they are interviewing you.
Make sure you actually want to work at this place because you’ll probably be spending at least 40 hours of your life there every week.
