This isn’t wrong but the far right party with openly fascist plans just won the popular vote in america, pretty sure europe is not there. Yet.

Being scared isn’t really something you can control. So I think what matters is whether that affects how she treats men.
As someone who also is quite scared of strangers when no one is around, I mostly just avoid that situation to begin with. If that’s not possible or it’s just too severe, it’s definitely something where looking into professional help could help her, if it’s available. Though not listening to true crime podcasts would probably be a good start…
Well, it’s the gut bacteria of those insects doing the breaking down, so it is still microbes. Just microbes hosted by worms.
Your entire paragraph about how any man could be a rapist also applies to women. Just seemingly at a higher probability (given the effects of testosterone I’ve heard from transmen, I’d be more surprised if it wasn’t skewed tbh, even if sexual assault by women is probably even more underreported than sexual assault by men).
The relevant question regarding danger here isn’t how many % of rapists are men, it’s how many % of men are rapists. And if we’re overanalyzing the bear thing, what percentage of bear encounters lead to death. Assuming one sees both bad outcomes as equal, it seems valid to consider one worse than the other.
In any case, the bear answer comes from a real fear that shouldn’t be dismissed and that alone indicates a problem, but that doesn’t mean it’s necessarily the rational answer. And regardless it should be extremely obvious why the answer is very offensive to all men that would never sexually assault someone. I don’t think either side is in the wrong here, but both sides are obviously going to be emotionally charged from the getgo, because it sucks to be discriminated against, and it also sucks to frequently feel in danger (…as a result of being discriminated against)
From your reaction you clearly care lmao but sure enjoy ur metaphorical popcorn
Tbf the sarcasm in ur original comment was very easy to miss because some people really think that way
Granted I think my heat intoletance is abnormal and when I get a doctor that doesn’t dismiss it out of hand I want to see if there’s a reason, but simply sitting in my chair at my pc in 22°C in t shirt and shorts is uncomfortably warm for me. 40 is just awful. Then again I barely notice a difference for anything above ~28, it’s all horrible.
A while ago I had a mini existential crisis about how things existing at all just makes no sense, and eventually concluded that things existing at all means that “nothing” is in some way unnatural and has a chance to become matter, which would then imply infinite universes as there would have to be infinite “nothing”, since that’s what would be outside our universe.
So yea, I’m thinking it’s probably large somethings for forever, always getting larger.
If it’s commonly understood, yes. That is how language works. Words change over time. Reading “would of” is jarring as fuck but it’s also not really mistakable for anything other than would’ve.
Israel is fucked in very similar ways but they’re not antisemitic in the modern use of the word at least (i.e. hating jews). And nazi tends to include that too.
If he just said they’re a genocidal regime I’d be with him on that, they did somehow manage to make russias invasion of ukraine look less bad in comparision.
They can delete 6.5 billion accounts without claiming they are active users.
Airtight packaging? I don’t see many things not sold in plastic wrapping.
Ads yes, everything else no. I haven’t seen a musk tweet or any tweet from someone I don’t follow that wasn’t sponsored or an rt from someone I do follow at any point in the following tab.
If they’re being violent themselves, or actively advocating for it (as in: in a way that could reasonably cause others to be violent). I’m also not gonna try to stop anyone for punching someone throwing out slurs, though I don’t think it’s a great response. If it’s just “i know this person is a nazi for whatever reason but they act like a normal person” I’m clearly against it and think the punching person is also in the wrong (to be clear, both are). Advocating violence against a group for their beliefs is just something I never consider okay, even if I think those beliefs make them the scum of the earth.
And even with all that I’d probably still press the magic button that makes all nazis drop dead, but mainly because I believe that would probably improve society quite a bit rather than because I think it is justified against them (since I would argue that really isn’t any different from genocide even if it doesn’t quite fit the definiton). That might make me a bit of a hypocrite, but it’s not like that button will ever exist.
I’ve been called a nazi on here for suggesting precisely that we shouldn’t punch nazis solely for being nazis so I’m assuming it’s serious for at least some people.
Lmao what
If you don’t want one and people make fun of you for that that is still shitty. Also it’s entirely possible to want one but just not enough to go actively looking. The only person that would be allowed to make that joke without being very certain he doesn’t mind would be anon himself. Society’s ultra focus on relationships and sex can feel bad enough without your fucking family making fun of you.
Honestly if you approach genshins probabilities for 5* with anything other than “50% i get at max pity, 100% at 2x max pity” you’re doing it wrong so I’d argue in that sense it’s dead simple. 4* being less guaranteed feels like a problem though, you’re not that much more likely to get the 4* you want from a banner than the 5*, and there’s no guarantee you’ll ever get it at all. And ime a LOT of people don’t realize that (though I still don’t think getting a rough idea of that is particularly complicated).
Having outright “if you spend x in game currency, you are x% likely to get the thing you want” info does seem like a reasonable requirement.
And personally the reason i spent more on genshin than any other gacha is that i had a reasonably priced guarantee instead of having to gamble at all, it felt more like buying chars for a set price with bonus loot boxes.
Think of an alternative scenario, not transportation but rather duplication. The original stays where it was, but a copy gets created elsewhere. To the copy, it will seem as if it got transported there. To the original, nothing will have happened.
Now you kill the original.
The only difference is the timing of ending the original.
Thefuck are you on about. I take just as much issue with chinas genocide, I just take less issue with my own (and other) governments’ handling of said genocide. For one Israel is getting active support while china has frosty trade relations, but also the balance of power would allow both the EU and US to pressure Israel into stopping, which they can’t just do with china because china is a global superpower. I still kinda think they should but we all know citizens will cry about any QoL loss they might experience as a result, and that is reasonably something governments have to consider.
Those will always be a small part. If it’s culturally clear what is harrassment and shouldn’t be tolerated, it’s far more likely that 1) there are actual consequences to sexual harrassment because victims feel comfortable speaking up and 2) that bystanders will try to intervene. Both of which make it less likely for anyone to even try.
When speaking up is met with “you dressed wrong”, “he was just trying to get to know you”, that is the core problem. Adding “you were on the wrong train car” isn’t necessarily helpful.
Japans women-only cars are sadly necessary, but the focus should be on making them unnecessary, not adding gender segregation in more places.
