Nah, you can always rely on the Hilbert Hotel for a good night’s rest. Your room is down the hall, just keep walking, you’ll find it.
Used to have a pair of these. Motorola S305. They were the perfect running headphones. Big chunky buttons for volume and track skipping, a plastic band that wrapped the back of your head and over your ears so it would never fall off but otherwise wireless. The only downside was really old Bluetooth tech so connection was sketchy at times. Also audio has improved a lot since then.
Modern buds don’t stay in my ears. I’m using the pixel buds pro right now. The right ear stays in pretty good but the left is completely unpredictable.
Looks like there’s a box of YoYo Balls and Pogs. Can I have a go?
The Last Night, Replaced and now this. I can’t keep giving my hopes up for highly stylized, somewhat pixely blade runneresk games. I hope one of these get released.
I haven’t used PayPal in over 10 years. Why don’t you just leave the service?
Just using Letterboxd decade filters gives a pretty good snapshot of the great cinema from each decade.
Yea I’ve looked at this stuff before. Usually the outages aren’t that long, more of an annoyance than a problem. I’ve got some UPSs around the house to keep the tech gear going, just looking for a cheap solution to the noise machine shutting off
Yea I’ve got some Cyberpower UPSs for bigger equipment but it seemed like overkill to add a $100 battery to a $20 noise machine. Plus they’re actually pretty noisy on battery mode (they buzz)
Yea I think this is the way to go. I’ve got some Cyberpower UPSs around the house for tech equipment but even with the beeping muted they’re still pretty noisy (like a buzzing). Looks like these mini ones might be the way to go.
The opening scene of Kong Skull Island is my go to for showing off sound gear. It starts with silence, then a plane going overhead and a fist fight, then a big bassy monkey.
Oddly the TV show Bodkin on Netflix really used the surrounds. I don’t know if it’s Atmos but whoever did the mix really loved to utilize all the sound channels.
Crystal Dynamics have a really strong track record with the exception of Avengers but I’d put the blame on the publishers for pushing a game on them that isn’t their specialty
With some Mirrors Edge. Honestly, sign me up. If they pull this off it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for.
I think we’re past this now, we’ve had a number of good (or at the very least enjoyable) adaptations now, Sonic, Mario, Pikachu. Werewolves Within was really good though no one has heard of the game. And of course TV has been knocking it out of the park, Last of Us, Fallout, Cyberpunk, Castlevania, League of Legends, hell I’d even throw in Twisted Metal. Even stuff about people who play games like Gran Turismo and Players were really good. We also have things that considered bad at the time are being reclaimed like Mortal Kombat
Borderlands is (by the looks of it) just an IP dump which isn’t exclusive to video games.
Or Cate Blanchett. Like if me and my friends were dream casting this movie one of us would say Cate Blanchett as a joke and we’d all laugh and move on. Don’t get me wrong, she’s one of my favorite actresses, you can Tar and feather me all day but this was frankly a bizarre call.
Reminds me of the show Barry, the character Sally is on a press circuit and someone throws the question at her “Who should play the next Spiderman” and confused by the question she says Ben Mendelson
Walk through the parks in Vancouver and you’ll know the wrath of the Chaos Canadian Ghost Goose
Edit: lol, whoops
Check out the app Yuka (I assume it’s also on iOS). You can scan the bar codes of food and body products to get the health score and warnings.
Android auto fails to load for me so often I’m pretty much restarting every day anyway
Holedown
You just aim a ball and clear blobs before they reach the top. No timer. I usually play this with my screen split to YouTube.
