Every other version of Android gets security updates out within a couple weeks of release at most.
/e/OS users are lucky if they get them within a couple months.

Well that comment is dumb.
Hurting the blue portion of purple/barely red isn’t going to do jack shit. They’re majority already staunchly against drumpf and everything he stands for. They didn’t vote for this.
If diehard red states love him so much, by all means help them live in his world. If they won’t change their mind, oh well. Doesn’t mean they don’t need to be inconvenienced for it.
If your goal is to DeGoogle, GrapheneOS is by far the best option. The biggest hurdle is it’s only available for unlocked Pixels.
In terms of security, /e/ takes months to push security updates, leaving you exposed longer. Privacy? There’s practically none. If you don’t have security, you don’t have privacy.
So other than GrapheneOS, practically any version BESIDES /e/ is a better choice. They’re all far weaker by comparison, but /e/ is the worst of the bunch.
It is literally one of the worst, least secure custom ROMs there is.
Do not use it simply because it’s European.
Recommending /e/ OS for privacy concerns?
Recommending Mastodon after they ditched it?
Coming from Proton, with a Trump supporter CEO?
This list is so unserious.
The harm is already here, idiot.
That’s why there’s a traitorous felon squatting in the White House.
It’s literally the worst.
Also correct, though I am not particularly familiar with Fairphone. Seems like they are down to bimonthly updates, if that.
