So this is the Pluto of the internet?
To be honest, despite the smaller community, I feel more at home in the Fediverse than ever I did in those big, bloated, commercial communities.

Okay, that’s good to know. Thank you!
Just to be clear, this is for POP!_OS, right? And does it automatically update my POP!_OS installation or is it a completely new distro that I’d have to do a clean install for?
Oh really? So that’s why my Windows system clock was way off after I installed Linux a few weeks ago?
I ran dual boot for a few weeks until my PSU broke which corrupted my Windows installation (I’ve been using Linux exclusively ever since) but when I was using Windows during that time sometimes I’d accidentally end up going to bed super late because the system clock said it was about 2 hours earlier than it really was.
Yeah, I now realise it could be very useful! I think Notepad in Windows 11 has tabs now but it’s still super barebones.
I never understood why people liked Notepad++ so much. I always just used Notepad for simple text file editing and quick notes so I didn’t see the point.
But I recently switched to POP!_OS and the text editor has lots of features Notepad doesn’t have (such as line numbers, indentation, and I can select the (programming) language I am writing the document in) and I found myself really liking these features.
Oh this is awesome! I really missed Atom and VSC just isn’t the same.
Thank you for sharing!
Ah some companies charge for calling their customer support, which kind of sucks because there’s a reason people call customer support (I guess it’s to scare people off from actually contacting them?) and it could get very expensive. I’m glad that wasn’t the case for you, though! That would’ve been super expensive.
That must’ve been an expensive phone call. I hate when they leave you waiting for ages and then charge extra even though it’s wasting your time, not theirs.
But that’s assuming everyone brings their phone along everywhere and not everyone knows how to scan a QR code or even (think elderly people, for example) owns a smartphone.
I do agree that it’s more sanitary, though. I did go to a place a while ago that had a QR code on the table which I thought was really cool, actually. Because it allowed me to place my order on my phone and even pay on my phone. But they offered a physical menu as well.
It’s already there. Got added in an update.
I love C#, but F# is also super fun and worth checking out.
