Ghostrider, kill confirmed.
Ghostrider, kill confirmed.
Was he ok?
It is tedious AF to have the enemy on the allied council.
Hey man, nice shot.
The airborne radar is very huge. Please please let’s follow up with Gripen and Meteor. Nothing like watching orcs eat missiles at 200km. (Wishful thinking but still)
Just keeping my fingers crossed for Gripens slinging Meteors at flying orcs.
Turns out the Lada MRAP isn’t quite as well protected as the Senator.
More than 1000 have been supplied to Ukraine, they can soak some vehicle losses. That’s what they’re built for.
Nice, you fixed it Ivan!
Russia has made a lot of arguments about history and security to justify the invasion of Ukraine. Personally, I don’t think they have a leg to stand on.
That whole pack of orcs scurrying clear was too bad, that would have been a nice tally!
Secretly supplied is an interesting take. The Ukrainians officially released video of them launching ATACMS hours after the airbase in Crimea was hit. I’m some jackass on the internet and had heard from multiple sources that the system was arriving. Poor headlines aside, definitely a good system, though it doesn’t increase strike range over Scalp/Stormshadow, it just adds another way to hit. That’s handy, I’m sure the numbers will be tiny though, it’s pretty overpriced for what it is.
It is so damaging to this type of pressure for the US to continue supporting Israel regardless of the frequency and severity of their crimes against humanity. It lets Chinese officials know that it’s coldy related to spheres of influence, morals and legality aren’t a factor. It’s not surprising they act as such.
I prefer that they carry on showcasing the difference between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, by applying rule of law and respect for Human rights within their system.
It’s worthwhile considering the effect of a russian victory. Look at the effect 1.6 million Syrian refugees had on the EU. They fueled exit movements in multiple nations, which Brexit quieted down. They pushed far right parties to the forefront, damaged cohesion and threatened the Union. What would 6 or 7 million pissed off, betrayed, often veteran, Ukrainian refugees do to the cohesion of the EU? It’s not a war that Ukraine would lose alone. France is showing the urgency of response the entire democratic world needs to show.
This looks like MLRS impact, definitely too small for JDAM, even with a 500lbs configuration. Nice hits though.
Probably automatically deployed along with chaff. Just dropping everything. There was an initial explosion in the upper right of the video. Might have shaken the first missile. Fortunately the operator remembered to double tap 😉
Definitely a situation that should see investigation. The drone war brings up interesting issues. Some have surrendered to drones and crossed over to be taken into custody. I’m not sure what the legality is when the target attempts to surrender outside of the capability of ground forces to take under control. While he is signifying surrender he remains a uniform combatant possibly beyond the possibility of custody. Difficult issue.
This strikes me as the clerical issue/error that will be solved in due course, but makes for great headlines. It’s just the system working as intended, but colliding with the changing situation regarding Russia. It’s easy to be angry, but that anger would be better spent pushing our various governments to mobilize industry and generate the supplies and support that Ukraine needs to be victorious. This is a book keeping error.
Edited to correct the autocorrect.
It is huge, they aren’t shit by any stretch. They can be defeated through tactics and technology, just like western defense systems. If there is an expectation of operating F-16 and Mirage 2000 in the combat area, these air defences need to be degraded. A SCALP missile streaking along at 75M altitude, supported by MALD electronic decoys, under the cover of 20-30 drones, with a few Neptune cruise missiles to soak up interceptors is far more likely to defeat an S-400 battery than a two-ship of F-16 operating within 80km of the front.
