MAG was truly a gem that never got the chance to shine. I wish some other developer would try doing something as mad as 256 player matches again.

It’d be nice if JRPGs would go back to the old school overworld design like in Star Ocean 2. It’s a good compromise between sense of scale and interactivity with the world.
Spoiler: They will waste their time.
Cal III was fun it was just a bunch of multivariable differentials. Cal II though sucked thanks to all the integration processes.
What… What’s the difference from regular holy water?
You should reply with “you look like Jackie Chan!”
It really made me start wondering how we can see infrared, ultraviolet and even the x ray light spectrums, but we have yet to do so in the microwave spectrum. It’d be awesome to see the world through such lens. Imagine being able to see through walls with WiFi and cell towers illuminating everything.
Splinter Cell was particularly good. If only Ubisoft would release all other Splinter Cell titles in GOG.
Unions are illegal in a Communist state? That’s hilariously ironic and sad.
It’s easy to be patient when you have a backlog of games to go through. Paying full price for a game that still has Denuvo or other forms of DRM just isn’t worth it for me. That said, I’m very sad Fantasian will be released with Denuvo soon after years of languishing in Apple Arcade.
It’s really hard to see your point when the American judicial branch is so obviously beholden to party politics and special interests. Judges can be voted on a lifetime appointment by a simple majority of 51 senators, who are likely to represent less than half the voting population of the country. I really think it’s time for clunkier and more archaic forms of democracy to make way for a more direct and agile way to run the government. At the rate we’re going, generations-long problems like climate change will be addressed when it’s too late.
There’s a guy at work who wears a MAGA hat all the time. I often think about telling him I want nothing to do with him liking a fucking Nazi but have to be civil and polite because he also acts the same way. It fucking sucks I can’t tell him what I really think because we’re in a professional setting and it would be stupid to start something up.
The free market has been deliberately shit at meeting the demands of consumers for quite some time. Big players like Apple have been very good at manufacturing hype and loyalty to deliver mediocre products for a consistent revenue stream instead. Smaller companies are either too irrelevant to make an impact or just try to mimic the more successful companies instead.
They could just pretend to be KIA and walk away right? It’s not like the NK government would have the resources to figure out if they defected or simply died and got a field burial.
They also have a very tight tolerance of failure. Every failure made in the engineering process brings more and more scrutiny by those holding the purse strings in Washington.
I prefer the term managed democracy.
Clearly you haven’t had the joy of having 10 tabs on Firefox, a film playing on VLC, the torrent client running, and trying to open up a large Solidworks assembly file on a 16GB Windows 10 PC. It gets eaten up fairly quickly.
Be careful which ebike brands to trust. Avoid Rad Power Bikes. Even though the brand’s American, its customer service and reliability’s a complete joke. I had a lightly used Rad Runner who’s battery died a little after a year of light use. Their warranty only covered up to a year and they said their only solution is to buy a new $600 battery that doesn’t even come with a warranty itself.
The vacuum’s a Matrix Shark and the mop’s a Narwal something or other. Aside from them getting stuck in corners or entangled in wires once a week they work great! A little wire management and careful furniture placement lowered the chance of that happening again. One dog pretty much ignores it and the other eyes it with suspicion and wouldn’t be in the same room it’s running in but otherwise I haven’t had any big issues yet.
It’s still better than WebEx because I don’t have to log in to that piece of shit software to start a video call.
