All you need to know is most people don’t give a shit about anything not directly threatening their way of life in immediate terms. Once you understand how pathetic people are, it becomes all the more obvious why things are allowed to be this way and not change. A lot of people don’t even care to put in the effort to learn or expand their knowledge of things at all.
Problem is, a lot of people don’t have a lot of money because of how the world has been allowed to go. Everything is funnelled towards the worst people who go unpunished somehow. There needs to be an uprising or something.
Too many people use it as a cop-out to avoid being accountable. It’s like when meat eaters say it’s a ‘personal choice.’ Like yeah, it is a choice you mean, but it also implicates other things not only you.
So many people like to portray everything as a ‘personal choice’ while ignoring all said implications to others. Very rarely does something only actually impact you.

Lots of stupid, emotionally driven teenagers on the platform who think their opinion is reality, so you have a lot of Tate/Peterson/Rogan riders on the platform. Add in the fact ‘controversial’ (blatantly wrong or insane) content gets lots of comments/engagement, so it is pushed by the algorithm. Then there are just lots of idiots in general who don’t want to consider self-reflection or change their vies, so they will eat up all the ideology that shifts the blame or gives them a chance to ‘get to the top.’ They are victims of modern society. But somehow see every ‘problem’ except for the real one, the one of neoliberal ideologies around capitalism and individualism.
Reddit is seriously dogshit. Shitty admins, shitty users and shitty investor interests ruined the site completely. The platform will never turn back. It’s gone fully into the hive-mind/censorship direction, likely because it keeps people on the site and maximises revenue.
As if killing people is some ultimate evil? WW2 literally happened with the purpose of stopping the Nazis, and the only way was killing them due to their ideology requiring force.
People die every day for no reason, some suffer their entire lives’, some people die due to indirect/direct consequences of greed by corporations. The US has killed millions through geopolitical interference. Yet killing somebody who would have ‘unideal races’ genocided is too far? Sure. As if liberals aren’t ok with killing people as long as they agree with the perpetrator.
Fucking ridiculous. If people feel so strongly to publicly announce wanting to kill you, they are either insane, or you are fucked up. And in this case, I think we know the answer.

Because the free market is bullshit. It always results in a few major companies hand-shaking and fucking over consumers. Smaller businesses almost never have a chance and are just as easily bought out. To win in this capitalist iteration of society, you have to be the worst and greediest you can be. Add in the fact most people prefer to remain ignorant or are just generally apathetic from years of conditioning, and ‘voting with your wallet’ rarely really works. That with improving education and access to information, people will inevitably realise lots of injustice in this world is unnecessary and easily solved one way or another. They will eventually see through the constant bias and falsehoods pushed onto them since birth and realise that creating suffering and destruction for their own personal desires is not just or normal. Eventually it will end and we will move forward. Soon enough, people will be held accountable.
Yeah. Either way, most people are rationalising and reactive, not rational. If you try to tell someone eating meat is bad because factory farming is abhorrent, many people will defend their actions and avoid direct accountability rather than admit or consider the problems that they support.
Anything to encourage even a single person to spend more money. It’s just sad, really.
Most people are emotional and when challenged find it easier to justify their position rather than consider that they are wrong. So yeah, people will argue shit just to argue it.
People don’t want to learn or debate anything. They form an opinion and from that point on stop giving a shit. It’s no surprise things end up like this.
