LO is fine for most uses though working back and forth with Office users can be problematic. Two things that I like about are: it offers a database module, which Office for the Mac doesn’t have, and it can open a lot of older file formats that newer apps can’t.

My theory is the people making the decisions don’t actually use the products they make and have no idea what it’s like to use them. They hear that another site is using AI, for instance, and decide their own site needs to use AI. But they don’t understand what AI does or why they should/shouldn’t use it, only that they have to have it. Boom, enshittification.

The looks like an interesting process. It would cool to see someone create new ones but it won’t be simple given the requirements.

Typical WSJ bullshit. Seeing the rule of law applied to a politician seems new and scary to them. They can’t understand that applying the law to someone like Le Pen might actually increase faith in the institutions that govern them.

There’s an old saying, “Politics makes strange bedfellows.” This is that saying in action.

The site is slow and it takes days after you request a file for it to be downloadable. I have one more to go before I can delete my data.

Trump hates the very fact that NATO exists. The US will pull out soon, it will help Putin the most.
