We’re seeing empires across the board vying for power now that the fascist US has abandoned its former soft power strategy. There is trouble brewing on so many fronts in this multipolar world, which means more chances for one of the bigger nations to enter a devastating war. It’s not just 2 powers fighting for dominance, but dozens of others looking to fight, with about a third of them having nukes.

I’d disagree. The world powers are more at risk of direct conflict than the founding empires hoped. Nationalism, militarism, and capitalism induced pain make major wars that fuck shit up more likely.

That rhetoric has always pissed me off for the same reasons as Americans not understanding why fascism took Europe in the 30s. Nowhere is special and nobody should think “it won’t happen here.”

The US is impossible to invade. Trump dying is the only way out, no elections or help from outside. We either wait this shit out by staying alive, or risk dying if you want to do something to improve things. It’s why Democratic politicians aren’t putting up a meaningful fight; they’re scared. They know the law is only serves him now.

Weak liberals will be complicit at best, and monsters at worst, so we need to work every day until the next somewhat fair election to make their brand weak.

When the fascists begin to bleed themselves dry, the left must lead the charge, not the money loving liberals. If we don’t lay that groundwork before most can envision the fight, we’ll have feudalists ushering in a “return to normalcy” with broad support from the public.

Once again, people believe that genes are the animal. Twin studies have consistently shown that despite substantial similarities, nature favors difference between clones. If they expect the animals to be identical and never pay attention to the differences, then they will continue to ignore that the code is designed to be flexible.

Again, are you respecting someone’s identity? I don’t care what you think you’re doing; if you aren’t recognizing a person as the person they are, then the conclusion is that you’re mistreating someone. The world isn’t a place where your self perceptions overwrite the person you actually are.

There are plenty of respectful debates about trans issues, and tolerance of people genuinely not understanding queer topics. What cannot be debated respectfully is whatever or not to respect a person"s identity. No amount of polite language can make such a conversation respectful, as you’re refusing to do the bare minimum required to speak to that person as an equal.

Creating a tolerant space requires not tolerating intolerance. This is not an authoritarian insight, but one centered on maximizing the freedom of everyone. If you demand a space where you can debate a basic fact about myself, then that is not a space in which I am free.

unless it’s the guy who has made the movement reliant on him, you’re wasting your time. you’d be better off with the wealthy elites who hold the most responsibility for this mess; and I’m not only talking about those who supported Trump.

When the night of long knives happens against the rebellious Republican senators, judges, or billionaires that try to be big men, then people will know why I insist that Trump is different. Until his heart stops beating, things will only continue to get worse for everyone.
