10·3 months agoThank you for sharing our history 💜 Kurdistan is one of the most progressive places in the Middle East. No one in my family told me what god to believe in if any. My parents taught me values of feminism, human rights and peace, and I see the same values shared by my siblings and cousins in Europe. Of course there are problems, but as my parents taught me, take from our culture what is good and do better than the things we did wrong. Long live Kurdistan!
It’s fine. Growing up I also shared a bed with my sister who is 8 years my senior. We didn’t always have a good relationship with our parents which probably made us all the closer. Like you said, sleeping in the same bed, nothing weird.

I’ll give you a little anecdote. I joined a casual server on Matrix recently. Two minutes into the conversation, it turns out the person I was talking to is installing some Linux stuff and watching an episode of classic Doctor Who. That’s two of my biggest interests right there that we immediately connected over. If there are only two users on Matrix, they’re the only two I need.

I don’t get it. Who is “they”? Why can’t you fetch the encrypted message from the server and then decrypt it client side?
