Unibodies do have a frame it’s just not a completely separate assembly like a ladder frame.
As others have said there are lots of places to jack a car. Nobody uses the flange on the rocker panels unless they’re trying to change a tire roadside with the emergency jack.
Yeah I refuse to pay a “convenience fee.” I’ll mail a f*ing check if they try to charge me.
Corporate gaslighting be like:
I’ve been voting for a while and never have I seen a candidate on the ballot who was against capitalism.
Both CEOs are horrible but the new one is a former McKinsey consultant with a background in finance and the silicon-valley C-suite. According to statements she put out her strategy is: layoffs and AI.
Tactical nukes aren’t real. They start an escalation ladder that gets you to global thermonuclear war in a few hours. Using a “tactical nuke” is just laying naked your intent to have things go nuclear while giving your opponent a chance to respond.
During the Cuban Missile Crisis Kennedy wanted to nuke Cuba. The joint chiefs told him that if he wanted to do that he would also have to nuke Russia in a massive fully committed first strike.
If they said they didn’t find any, then everyone would know it was a whitewash. So they decided to “find” a small amount and then pat themselves on the back.
Reality is about to get all melty and people are gonna have six fingers.
On the flip side he’s a horrible and absent father so he seems to think that the only thing a man contributes that affects the children is his sperm.
The US has extensive sanctions against Russia and Putins associates and many violators have already been prosecuted.
This video would be considerably shorter but even funnier with cybertrucks:
Is it really possible to sign away a right to sue a company, especially hidden in an EULA?
Yes it is. It is called “forced arbitration” and pretty much every contract you are compelled to sign has it.
In any kind of just society with a fair legal system it would not be legal. But that doesn’t describe us or our legal system.
You’re assuming that the goal is to shock Russians. Other possible goals are:
Which of these goals are the reasons for this incursion are unknown outside of Ukraine’s command structure.
My guess is you’re seeing the computer go into a reject loop until a human operator finally takes over.
some cunt sitting in his pajamas taking no personal risk in the fight.
If it’s helpful the FPV pilots are nearby and are a priority target for each side.
These are essentially loitering munitions—a mass-produced version of the switchblade. I personally think that the next phase is that people will develop really good weapons for knocking them out of the sky, either by shooting them down (maybe the combat shotgun makes a comeback?) or ECM or both. Hopefully Ukraine is ahead of Russia on this.
Russia’s nuclear sabre rattling isn’t credible because their nuclear arsenal is not dispersed. Dispersal is the key to a nuclear exchange and it’s why both sides spend so many billions on submarines and stratobombers. Since the cold war Russia’s nuclear assets have been sitting grouped at bases around the country. If Putin wants to be credible he has to first order the planes in the air and the submarines to sea. But the submarine he sent to Cuba was accompanied by a tug “just in case.”
I feel like drones are having a moment that will be short-lived as anti-drone technology develops (either electronic countermeasures or active anti-drone defense systems).
I saw this as the supposed plan:
The problem is, this isn’t an acceptable plan according to Russia. Russia has insisted that:
Trump is going to find out that you can’t unilaterally declare peace.
