Damn, now we don’t know what we don’t know, because the guy deleted another comment lol.
The OP’s comment (which has now been deleted) was “If you read some of the comments I’ve deleted, you would know.”
Can someone sell me on the appeal of this anime?
No part of that guy’s comment is valid. He’s not even the barest bit subtle about how badly he is distorting the facts.
Nobody is talking about any of these things: a gun that 1 tapped every enemy, infinite ammo, auto aiming, wanting every gun to become a 1 tap super weapon. It’s not even part of the discussion. All of these are imaginary things this person made up. Somehow people are just looking at it and nodding instead of calling out the bullshit.
Bad straw man argument
Is there a name for the phenomenon when a company or group has access to all of the metrics for a product or good then makes foolish decisions using that information?
Right now Arrowhead can deflect all criticism of their actions by saying “we made this decision based on the numbers” while ignoring the fact that metrics aren’t magic numbers blindly meant to be followed, you are supposed to use them to discover underlying reasons for why those numbers exist in the first place.
This patch is a big L for me and a bad omen for what is to come of this game if the devs are making their decisions like this.
I thought they were just paying someone to half assedly maintain MAL for the last few years, but it turns out they were paying someone to build a back end and create a browsable database so they can sell user’s information for their own profit.
One of the original Reddit memes was quite prescient:
So I’m a dirty pirate and I always thought that at the end of the episode during the “letters to home” gag, I just had a bad copy of S1 and S2 and they were unintentionally cut short. But even in this episode, the letter was cut off… so I guess that’s the way they are supposed to be?
