Try clearing your ublock cache. It’s kind of buried in a support/help section nowadays.
This is still kind of spoilery yo.
Linux Mint w/ Cinnamon is a pretty painless transition.
Lol, torrents aren’t going anywhere. Decentralized and entrenched as fuck.
Steam should implement mandatory version history rollbacks. Super lame that it’s optional, at the dev’s discretion.
Are you sure it still works? Mine quit working at some point this year :(
Also, there’s non-rolling limit to how much shows in a user profile. All the delete/modify scripts I’ve seen work through the user profile, cycling each sorting method to access as much as possible. For old accounts, or just ones with enough activity, there’s going to be shit not visible there. Have to search with other means if you want to get everything in that case.
Recently started learning NixOS and seems like it’s going to be ridiculously awesome! Documentation doesn’t look to be great in a lot of areas though unfortunately, so might be a while before I really figure shit out.
Daily reminder that IP law is fucking stupid.
So then that lower metabolism stuff isn’t true?
No, it’s not. Just a coping mechanism for people to feel better about not being able to stick to a diet necessary for weight loss. Calories in, calories out. Maintaining a calorie deficit (i.e. consuming less than you burn) is what results in weight loss.
Because people are mainlining propaganda en masse and it’s rotting their brains. Maybe fediverse users are more abrasive idk, but the adversarial tone in online discourse nowadays is hardly unique to the platform.
Rand Paul, Ron Wyden, and Mike Lee.
How do you avoid “hoarding”?
I dont. Hard drives are increasingly cheap/large. I have to really dislike something to delete it. I have a fair amount of content that I don’t really plan on watching again, but someone I know might like it so i just leave it typically.
and a script blocker
Way too many people still don’t understand that this is an essential part of the security equation. Many sites execute 10+ scripts, many of which are doing who the fuck knows what, and said sites typically only need like 1 to 3ish allowed to function.
Sure it’s inconvenient compared to not doing anything, but it’s mostly front loaded inconvenience. Once you get things dialed in for frequently used sites, and learn to tell at a glance what needs to be allowed, its really not much hassle at all tbh.
