I loved Van Helsing. It was seriously brain dead entertainment but action was great and the effects were good. I loved The Brothers Grimm, that came out the year after, better though. Horror movie, comedy, action. I passed that movie over back then because of the critics, so took a few more years until I actually got to see it.

I’m pretty sure theres been a lot of christian Bible burnings, theres even YT videos of a few. I cant find anyone claiming all christians are brutal ass-backwards murderers but it probably exist. Not that anyone cares enough to cause a diplomatic issue just for that. Also the “christians” burns other “christians” Bible’s too ocassionally, just because of slight differences. Probably a big reason why nobody cares anymore.

I dont know how useful it would be. I’ve read some of the Bible and it seems VERY separated from the morality of real life christians.

For me its less of a contract and more of a built-in instinct. I feel physically ill if I think I unfairly annoy or hindering someone. I was instantly permabanned for adding RAM to my computer while having the game installed. First game I’ve ever been banned before. And instantly permanent? I would think there would be a warning at least! I wonder how many else are falsely banned… Because @kadu@lemmy.world have a point, it used to be those who cheated who complained, and this makes it difficult for a faulty cheat detection to be picked up by the devs. More so when they think “they have fixed it” after the first time a wave got falsely banned.

I spent a day really angry about it, ranting on reddit. Was pretty shocked from it. Then I calmed down and figured I didnt enjoy that game enough to take it further.

The 3 criminals that got hit with that justice system got away with kidnapping a person and underfeeding a trapped animal before they were finally caught red-handed stealing sausages and cake. They spent only a few days in a minimum security prison, got free soap and a haircut and food and support, before they were freed and given jobs after proving they had changed for the better.
