I mean, yeah. That isn’t necessarily the point here, though. There’s a lot of frustration surrounding the need for private trackers and we could maybe solve that here.

maybe we make a usenet group as well?
Putting a minifrige under my desk was one of the best bad decisions I’ve made.
I will when I can. They are in a storage unit that I can get to on Saturday at best and I will have to dig through stuff. There is also a fair chance of my memory failing because it has been 25 years.
Thanks. That helps quite a bit. The internet’s fury has made me question whether I am correct in this regard countless times, but I still have textbooks that say that the usage in this meme is correct. I’ve been curious for a long time.
Ok, this is a personal thing for me. It might be just UK/Europe (I don’t know) that rejects this use of the apostrophe in this case. Throughout my North American (US, specifically) education into collegiate level English courses I was taught to use an apostrophe to pluralize initialisms and acronyms specifically. If it is not an initialism or acronym, carry on with just adding an “s.”
If there is an actual problem within this US variation of English that I have been taught, please let me know, because it’s become frustrating to see things such as: “you don’t need that apostrophe,” and “this is a sin against the apostrophe” etc. etc.
I’m not trying to be critical or harsh here, just get a better understanding.
I have my doubts about this being easy, since the other necessary function of headlights is being seen.
I mean sure, that would be great, but I don’t have that.
It is an issue for me because the only machine I have is my daily driver laptop, and I’d really rather not take up even that 35GB if it can be helped.
OK, this bot is very useful. Thanks to … whoever.
You are quite right in that it is not a cheap VMS. Since I don’t know 100% how to set thing up, though, the cost might be worth my time.
I may just pay for it and report back as a service to the community.
Ok, but I’ve only a remote idea of what you’re saying. Can you elaborate?
Thanks, I’ll look into this stuff.
I’ve been waiting for the free Oracle cloud to open up (I know that’s super rare). Is there a goof VPS you can recommend?
Yeah, that’s partially why I’d need info as to if this Lemmy host is legit. I have the domain (technically), and if the price jumps I’d be ok with that. I paid upfront for a couple years at $1/yr. Yeah, the registrar might screw me over, but at the price I’ve paid, there’s not a lot of risk. I really need feedback on the Lemmy host.
I will never work a day shift again if I can help it. Absolute misery waking up like that.
A more useful angle would be something like “This has a watermark and I don’t like that. Is there a version somewhere that doesn’t have one?”
I can’t think of a list, but outside of webcomics, I have never encountered a watermark in the media you have listed. Movies/videos would require someone actually sitting down with editing software, being somewhat competent, and time. Games? Nigh impossible.
I guess what I’m getting at is in order for people to be helpful here, you need to be more specific.
The Onion encountered SCP 5000
AT Launcher for Minecraft has a native Linux package. I know that isn’t the particular launcher you asked for, but it works great.
