I’d prefer to see downloads per country per capita.
I’d prefer to see downloads per country per capita.
The concerning thing is, wouldn’t this affect yt dlp too?
Art style is implacable. Sort of resembles the castlevania series? I like it.
Yes of course, I agree this is the rationale for sure. Still I blame Microsoft (and Sega as I’ve just discovered) for this.
Yes, I know I can remap, but I’m just too stupid to be able to remember that the confirm/cancel buttons are swapped so I’m constantly messing that up. It’s especially a problem on the steam deck, which has Microsoft’s layout.
Somehow, when I’m holding an xbox controller, my brain just knows that the A button has to be the south button.
See the other comment.
The problem is that they took Nintendo’s button names (ABXY) and transposed their positions. It’s utter chaos, and very hard for me at least to remember that A is B and B is A.
Oh they’re very good controllers! The problem is that they took Nintendo’s button names (ABXY) and transposed their positions. It’s utter chaos, and very hard for me at least to remember that A is B and B is A.
Playstation, by contrast, came up with entirely new button symbols, so it’s much less confusing that O -> A.
The APIs for gamepad interfacing are a total mess now, with some based on button names and some on position (south/east/west/north).
Xbox controller is the worst thing to happen to emulation
Yes that was clear to me. I was saying that, while I don’t find same-sex content objectionable (indeed it makes me happy to see this kind of representation on screen), and I personally think it’s something children should be exposed to, many people would disagree. Just like other tags on here which I think children shouldn’t be exposed to at a young age but others wouldn’t mind. Relative morality.
Politically speaking, I would be happier if those who oppose same-sex relationships were to change their minds. They pose a threat to my life. But FOSS is for everyone, even people I disagree with.
All of these represent various social mores. I’d have no problem with my kids seeing content involving fantasy violence, but I respect that others might object. As a bisexual myself, I have less respect for those who object to their kids seeing homosexuality specifically, but I can tolerate their existence.
For fairness’ sake, I wouldn’t mind it if heterosexuality were on the list too.
If anyone has other recommendations that don’t precisely match OP’s needs, I’ll also be in the market soon.
Moreso, I like to be able to have control of the game. If I play a game with my friends that I like, I don’t want the game to be changed into something else (live service) so I can’t come back and play the version we once did.
I wouldn’t require source code, no. I would just consider that one acceptable form of allowing the game to continue being playable. However, it requires intervention from the user, so it wouldn’t be accepted under this proposal.
Under the proposed rule, a company would not avoid penalty by releasing the source code.
so that no further intervention whatsoever is necessary for the game to function
I mean, I’d accept “release the source code” but this doesn’t.
I never play games that are pure online with no LAN support.
No, it’s unreasonable to expect the servers to stay online forever. Instead, they should be required to hand the keys over to the community if they stop providing the online service.
Addictive? Factorio.
Yeah, they could have applied a logarithm or something.
