You can do regular code blocks in Slack? I thought you only could do inline or in snippets.

Have you used teams for sending code recently?

I tested it last week and it worked pretty well and even featured syntax highlighting. From the very limited one time test I actually prefer the way teams handle code since it doesn’t force you to use some kind of snippet.

Teams is also supposed to get better formatting and chats fairly soon. I will continue to use slack because I prefer it but it’s nice that teams is at least getting better.

There is a setting in slack that is enabled by default so that notifications will only arrive on your computer if you are active on it.

Discord does the same thing. It’s great, I wish teams and outlook did it too.

I like the the manufacturer is listed as unknown when the picture shows it’s obviously made by Texas instruments. There are not a lot of companies with a logo of Texas that makes ICs.

Yes of course but recording a private conversation has been legal before and I couldn’t find any good indications that it has changed under the GDPR.

The law essentially says that it’s illegal to record or listen to private conversations which you aren’t a part of using technical instruments.

So it’s legal to press your ear against a wall but it’s illegal to use any tech to listen/record to anything.

Yeah it varies. In my country you only need to participate in the conversation to be allowed to record it.

You can also film or photograph anyone you feel like in public as long as they aren’t in a place where privacy is expected like a bathroom or something like that. In general you can record and upload all day long.

Alright. I didn’t know you needed an intel wireless chipset. Not sure why it matters if you use an AMD CPU though. Does AMD even make wireless chipsets?

My PC have an Intel wireless chipset and an AMD CPU.

It works alright for me on Windows. I have since also switched to local send because it’s just so good. But quick share is also fairly decent last I checked.
