Ikr. Though it’s largely dependent on the kind of work you’re doing, I find that for myself a 1 monitor setup is sufficient.
I feel like I was moving documents around too much when I had multiple. Or that it would make me lazy cause I didn’t bother closing something I was finished with.
That being said — widescreens are wear it’s at.
Can you elaborate or link to further reading?
I assumed methanol is the first to go because of its lower boiling point — 65 degrees compared to ethanol at 78
Dude ikr. You have to actively try to make methanol when you’re distilling, like only collecting the foreshots over and over.
And by that point I’d be super easy to tell it’s not regular alcohol because it will smell like nail polish remover and other volatile compounds.
If only we could prod decision makers at the big software companies to actually support Linux…
Those fucks are way too greedy though. I mean AutoCAD hasn’t even got any significant feature updates in years let alone support for any platform other than Windows and they still charge insane prices for it just cause they can. And at the end of the day me and everyone at work are all stuck on shitty Windows.
That sounds awesome. I’ll try it out some time.
Do you know about Timberborn? That’s another one that looks cool.
That’s what sucks about Civ (and EU4, HOI4 and the like for that matter) — once you figure out how it works and you start winning it becomes boring in single player.
And then for multiplayer it’s hard to find someone committed to playing for long stretches of time consistently.
IMO games where losing is fun is where it’s at, like Crusader Kings, Rimworld and Dwarf Fortress.
What does it taste like?
Right? Even from a purely selfish perspective, this is unwarranted and wanton whereas if you go after a company you can make money.
Facebook marketplace for used books and used goods in general. Lots of good quality basically new stuff on there for cheap. I guess because so many Canadians just buy stuff without thinking and then it piles up and they need to make space.
Some neighbourhoods also have some boxes on posts (not sure what they’re called, they resemble mailboxes) where people can take and give away books for free as well.
You can also type ‘bookstores’ in google maps and seeing what local stores will come up.
Can confirm. Was a waiter for about 6 months. Everyone there at the very least smoked cigs, weed, drank, and got completely shitfaced almost everyday after the shift. I imagine for cooks they could do it during their shift. Heard meth and crack are very popular too but I never seen it myself.
I think it’s the combo of the stress, the low salary, and high turnover. The ones that stay develop coping mechanisms. I imagine a few get lucky and get to work at fancy places too.
The problem is that despite western countries granting independence to their former colonies, the world order and the global economy is still set up in a colonial way. The global south remains dependent on western support.
I can’t blame some New Caledonians for wanting to remain a part of France. An isolated region like that greatly benefits from the economic support that being part of a larger country provides, even if it comes at the cost of racism.
Plus the insane power consumption for such a marginally useful feature. Especially given that it’s on by default for everyone using google (as I understand)
It’s almost like the feature is not ready but they need to show off to their investors anyway. At the cost of user experience and the environment.
At least with ChatGPT you have to consciously go to their website and use, rather than being the first result of a fucking internet search.
Rap music playing out loud through a shitty mic
My bad, Reddit is still owned by an American company but Tencent has a large stake in it since 2019, at least enough to influence the platform into complying with pro-CCP censorship and etc
Wow thank you for your super informative comment!
Yeah that’s possible too. It’s all speculation until the Netflix documentary comes out years later lol
It’s possible it was a initially pump and dump that turned into a Saudi funded venture. He’s a useful idiot from the Arabs’ perspective.
Thanks for pointing that out. It’s just so normal to think that way here that they’ve even corrupted me into framing climate change that way. It’s not a left wing topic; it’s a reality.
I just hope young people who are thinking of voting conservative here keep in mind that those assholes literally don’t believe in climate change and by extension science and facts. That alone should automatically disqualify conservatives from anyone’s consideration.
Though it’s only tangentially related to your inquiry, you should check out improvethenews.org
It’s basically what you are looking for but with news stories, though it’s primarily focused American news. It allows you to read the different narratives without actually visiting cancer news sites like Sky news.
