Just my two cents, but I think it’s okay to suggest both. Everyone is capable of doing their own research and deciding for themselves what they like and don’t like. I’ve never heard of SearXNG, but it looks really cool. May spin one up for myself.

I concur. It seems like Google is trying to force personalization. It’s also not good that they are hiding the default recommendations because it becomes harder to see what is being censored.
Until they patch this loophole by forcing yearly subscriptions.
I just host my own instance of Gitea.
