Getting your ass kicked is not even a big deal in combat sports with rules. You’ll mostly be fine, you can spin the story. I bet Zuck gets beat all the time in training. I rather see Musk call out fights and back out. That is such a pussy move.
Jiu Jitsu. Really fun to grapple hard against an opponent. Unlike striking sports, you can practice pretty hard and mostly avoid injuries. There is a thinking component and a mental strength component making it much more fun than other workouts I do.
It feels like a waste of my time engaging in a port the seeing its a bot after I started a comment. I always delete a d move along. I guess I should just block them.
I have way more fun on Lemmy. I do need some of the more esoteric an vast archived content from reddit from time to time. For that I just google reddit and no longer sign in. Fedi will get there soon enough though.
It definitely feels like I have a voice in the spaces that I hang out here. The comments in reddit, insta, fb are so swollen that comments seemed pointless unless you comment on brand new posts. Maybe not everything needs to be here.
I think it is great here on Lemmy but tbh, the content is limited. My enjoyment here is partly watching it develop. Im like 1 week in and I can see it growing day by day. I don’t think that is what most eventual users want to experience. They want it all set up with the party in full swing.
