Zealous about parenting and proud of their culture. Probably more similar to my own background than a lot of people would feel comfortable admitting.

Intolerant but could probably be won over to be less outwardly hateful of new ideas since they’ve tasted wealth and desire to join the international community. The things that their religion makes them hate tend to be things that most other Abrahamic religions also hate, which could be grounds for friendship?
