Well you can’t know how somebody else feels. You can take your best guess. But there is no way to actually know, without asking them. Empaths think they know how somebody feels and to them it’s a fact that this person must feel that way, In actuality they could be completely way off because what they are doing is imagining how the other person feels based on how they would feel in the same situation, which might not be true of the other person. So even though they have empathy, they are not an empath, such things can’t exist without the ability to mind read, and there’s no proof that anybody can do that.

I think the point of this is you can’t know how they feel, only assume. Empaths assume and then trust their assumption so much they believe it to be fact.

I have used them, mainly FPS games. I also have built in functionality to change my mouse sensitivity in my mouse. There’s a “sniper mode” button as well that will change the sensitivity whilst the button is pressed to allow me to be more precise (not that I use that as I don’t play many games like that)

I used the separate x and y options when I was using a tracker ball once. It went slower vertical than it did horizontally so being able to change them individually was a huge help.

Other people that might make use of this feature (and perhaps even render a game unplayable without it) is disabled people, I don’t have experience here, but it’s not hard to imagine use cases, poor hand mobility, limited reach etc.

Surprisingly less porn than you’d imagine. Though I go a different way, I browse all (because of FOMO) but block communities that post stuff I don’t want to see. Now I have a very tailored all feed that also includes new stuff I might not have known about to subscribe to.

Perhaps it’s the make of the bottle the ones I’ve seen (mainly coke zero and iron bru) don’t seem to get in the way, dangle or inconvenience me. Pour it from the opposite side to where the cap is attached. That way the awkwardness of pouring the liquid over the attached cap is a none issue. I can only assume that’s what you’ve been trying to do.

I don’t know the answer in this specific case, my best guess is visibility, although you might read text posts I would take a guess and say the majority of users of sites such as Lemmy and Reddit only look at the images before interacting with a post. So an image of text would garner more interaction than the same content in a text post.
