If you’re downloading manually there aren’t really a lot of advantages to this I think, unless you search through 10 or more sites every time. For automated downloads using sonarr/radarr/lidarr/… it’s pretty mandatory.
That seems to be the trend nowadays, repeating the same thing as if they were trying to meet a quota. Often I see articles about a single tweet of about 100 characters, just summarizing the tweet several times with no additional info. Generating an article with AI would probably be even better now, especially when it’s just a summary of a study.
There are still plans with data caps in Belgium, this is limited to the “cheapest” plans though at about 30 EUR a month
So that’s about 2.95M USD or 2.7M EUR, I wouldn’t go to prison for 18 years for that amount of money that’s for sure.
Maybe his 4D chess move is trying to push everyone to federated apps, what a great guy!
He’s probably having a fit over everyone blocking him from their feeds
What is with everyone’s obsession, government or company, to moderate the web. It’s seriously depressing and exhausting.
I haven’t found any info on such regulation existing
In Belgium, the RRN (SSN) is considered confidential data and its use is restricted to specific purposes, typically related to administrative, legal, or public interest matters. To ask for RRN, you’d need authorization and it’s highly unlikely you’d get it just to validate someone’s social media account.
I can differentiate situations depending on context
I think you’re missing context though. It wasn’t addressed in the video.
Ah thanks, I couldn’t find anything about it. I run all my stuff on a server behind a Tailscale network, so nothing is accessible without VPN access. I thought it might need connections from other instances.
It’s always been that way lol
Google is full of similar posts, all linking to deleted posts. This is spam
The fact that WireMin doesn’t redirect to https and the contact email is some weird gmail address says a lot. I also steer away from the web3 stuff in general.
This also seems like a poor way to advertise:
From all the google results I can find, It seems whoever posts this shit has a habit of removing it shortly after and reposting it later
Do bad thing, say you handled bad thing wrongly, hope people forget bad thing.
How is self-hosting in regards to resources (disk space, memory, network etc)? And does it need to be public?
This increasing interest in biometric data, not just from “X”, is concerning to say the least
