I mean, that’s a quick way to have an entire detachment of Russian troops get friendly fired upon.
The problem is that the UAF needs to drop their grenades carefully to avoid hitting him.
didn’t they already do that warcrime?
Russia treats The Geneva Convention as a checklist ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I dunno about you guys but just desert when you cross back into friendly territory.
Not as easy as it sounds from what we’ve seen. You’ll be killed by the artillery you’re running away from if you make it very obvious you’re trying to desert. If you make it look very convincing you’re going to fight, you’ll be taken out by artillery from the Ukrainian side. Artillery works for miles.
I’m worried for this kid. I’d be at high risk of suicide in such a scenario. Like, the night before I had to report for service.
Hopefully, he will return home soon: https://www.dawn.com/news/1788329/russia-to-send-ukraine-teen-home-after-deal
Wow, I really hope this is true and happens. Thanks for the update.
When they give you a gun, you know what to do.
Many Russian conscript POWs have said they never handled a weapon. They were told they were going to be drivers, then trucked somewhere to then be given a shovel and told to dug trenches. Then a few weeks later trucked to the front-line and told to sit in a hole and observe.
So, cannon fodder after the hard labour is done?
That’s sad to hear.
