Always been interested in relief maps. Lately I’ve wanted to purchase some 3D relief maps. The contours you can feel with your hand. Maybe even exaggerated relief maps. But it seems to have been popular historically but not so much nowadays.

Who’s still actively creating 3D relief maps? Is this now just the domain of 3D printing?

Along the same lines a 3D relief globe would be amazing.

Where’s the right place to buy? Are they all ridiculously expensive? Or is there a supplier who does reasonable prices for basically educational maps?

    Yeah that’s probably the best option. I haven’t dipped my toes in 3D printing at all yet. It’s kind of daunting
