The Marriage of Figaro goes hard
what’s up with this conductor?? lol
edit: ok for real, Mozart was God talking to us through music. this is just perfection.
It’s been hundreds of years and nobody has been able to top this.
how could someone top perfection?? this seriously is just perfect.
There’s also “The Abduction of Figaro” which is a classic Bach piece (…no, the last one)
Overture seems too hurried, I’d look for other performances. It’s subjective but this one misses the spirit for me.
The Magic Flute (the movie version by Ingmar Bergman)
Great production value, and it’s one of the few operas where the singers actually look like their characters, while also being good singers).
Not sure this is what your asking, but the Auckland Symphony Orchestra played Sandstorm. https://youtu.be/H9r597vJbSQ .
Edit: Ive now realized orchestra and opera are different, but leaving the comment.
Commenting to follow, I didn’t know this was information I needed!
